Crowell Solutions is a privately held corporation. It was founded in 2001 in the midst of the technology bust and has been funded organically. In order to provide a quality end product, Crowell Solutions has developed a formalized software design, testing, and implementation plan. The goal of this comprehensive plan is to eliminate, to the greatest extent possible, surprises that all too frequently occur when a new software product “goes live.” By implementing agile methodology, iterative processes, and environment modeling, Crowell Solutions accomplishes two things:

First, the customer is aware of progress throughout the entire development lifecycle. Bugs are identified sooner rather than later, are reported and resolved. Software configuration issues are caught prior to implementation, to the greatest extent possible, through iterative testing and environment modeling.

Second, implementation time is minimized, as surprises and glitches are identified prior to actual implementation. Implementation time is further minimized by modeling, to the greatest extent possible, our customers’ particular environment. This includes firewalls, software and software versions, hardware, etc. Of course, Crowell Solutions realizes that 100% modeling is not always possible, but a reasonable approach, given the situation, can further reduce the time to implement new software as well as new systems.
