The RocketSled™ XML Editor is a robust, full-featured XML editor that works completely inside Microsoft Word. To demonstrate this, we've created a custom XML Schema that we use to author XML documents. This Schema is for demo purposes only, but it reflects the requirements of one document type that could be found in an Engineering department of an Aerospace company. Here's a screenshot of the XML Schema (click to enlarge):

Like any XML editor, RocketSled requires a style sheet to define the formatting of the XML document. RocketSled Designer makes this amazingly easy. The Designer interface integrates completely into the MS Word editing environment. The reason for this integration is that Designer style sheets use MS Work styles for all styling. That means anyone who knows how to develop Word styles can develop styles for use in RocketSled. Designer then makes it easy to associate the Word styles you create with the elements from your XML Schema. Here's a style sheet, in Designer, for our sample document (note the standard Word style interface window on the left and the Designer interface window highlighted on the right):

Using an XML Schema and a RocketSled Designer template, you can use RocketSled to create an XML document in Word. The result is impressive:
